Scott Rice has more than 20 years of expertise in Human Resources. Scott has built a career in optimizing organizational effectiveness and mitigating workforce-related risks including the last 12 years as the head of Human Resources for a mid-size interprovincial company, where he oversaw all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, health and safety, and strategic planning. This role required integrating HR initiatives into broader business strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple provinces, and developing a high-performing workplace.
Additionally, Scott has led his own independent HR consulting firm since 2011, providing expert guidance on career planning, recruitment, employee management, regulatory compliance, and organizational strategy.
Having worked in different industries including, engineering, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and hi-tech, Scott brings a wealth of experience in managing teams with unique needs. His HR experience brings an essential perspective to enterprise risk assessments by addressing human capital vulnerabilities. Scott excels at identifying risks related to workplace culture, compliance, and operational inefficiencies while developing strategic solutions to enhance organizational resilience.
