Aziz Khadem, MA

Aziz Khadem has a unique career path encompassing covert law enforcement, government security & intelligence, corporate security and investigative experience. Aziz has extensive experience working both domestically and internationally with multinational corporations, various government ministries, departments and law enforcement agencies to mitigate enterprise risk, secure operations and personnel, safety and morale, and increasing profitability.

Aziz holds a Master’s Degree in Human Security from Royal Roads University and is currently completing a Master of Laws. He is fluent in Farsi, German, and English; Aziz can also communicate in basic French.

He is a senior security and risk management consultant with 25+ years’ experience, specialized in managing and mitigating risk and liability of public entities and individuals, as well as private corporations, non-profits, and institutions. He is recognized by the Alberta Government as a Subject Matter Expert with unique expertise in risk management, critical infrastructure protection, and emergency preparedness & response planning.

Aziz is also a Government security consultant to four government ministries (Alberta Justice, IT, Infrastructure, Solicitor General & Public Security), and a Government subject matter expert on critical infrastructure protection, operational risk management and emergency preparedness/response planning, including risk/threat/vulnerability assessments of public facilities and at-risk public figures. Aziz possesses an established track record of leading programs and cross-functional teams in progressively senior positions, including in emergency preparedness & disaster response; organizational resilience, disaster preparedness & recovery; business continuity planning; corporate & enterprise security & risk management, occupational health & safety, environmental protection, government security operations, and intelligence.
